Material Nature
The Material Nature comprises three modes :-
- Sattvic - (Goodness)
- Rajasic (Passion)
- Tamasic (Ignorance)

Definition :-
- Sattvic is the purest amongst there, being enlightened and free from Sorrow.
- Mode of passion is the cause of infinite. desires and cravings, pushes the conditioned Soul to perform fruitive activities.
- The mode of ignorance incites the embodied. Soul into an illusion which is seen as laziness, sleepiness, and deluded madness.

Emotion
- Sattva Guna binds one to happiness,
- Rajas Guna to fruitive activity,
- Tamas Guna to madness.

In Battle of Supremacy,- Sometimes goodness reigns Supreme defeating passion and Ignorance.
- Sometimes passion takes over beating goodness and Ignorance.
- Sometimes Ignorance dominates over Goodness and passion.

How to Know,
- When the gates of the body. are enlightened with knowledge, Sattva is the active mode.
- Attachments, yearnings, fruitive activities are Symptomatic of rajasic Guna.
- Darkness, inactivity and illusions indicate dominance of tamas Guna.

Death- Goodness :- Higher Planets
- Passion :- Takes birth amongst those driven by fruitive activities.
- Ignorance :- Birth amongst animals.

Actions- Goodness :- Purity
- Passion :- Beget Suffering.
- Ignorance :- fool hardiness.

<Knowledge comes from Sattva Guna, Greed from rajas, Foolishness from tamas>They are only the three modes of material nature. Involved in all activities and not the SUPREME LORD.
Transcending the modes of nature, Release from miseries of birth, death. and old to age enjoy eternally.
One who transcended the three modes. of material nature has :-- No hatred for Knowledge, attachment or delusion, nor does he long for them, when Absent.
- Remaining steady and composed in joy and Sorrow
- Views mud. gold, Silver all equally.
- Doesn't differentiate like or dislikes, praise or blame, honor or dishonor, friends or foes and has renounced all result oriented activities.
One rises of the three modes of nature and reaches the Brahman platform.
